Just read the report on how economic can affect weddings this year. Many of the couples have planned and book for their wedding events way back before the economic bubble burst, just like us. We have booked a hotel, a middle-priced bridal studio, and i got both a proposal ring and wedding band. I am thinking what will we do if we had foresee this situation.

1. Book a cheaper hotel or just settle for a restaurant.

2. Save on proposal ring.

3. Book a cheaper bridal studio

4. Get his frens to video and take photo for us on the day

5. Get a cheaper pair of wedding bands

Since we have already planned and paid deposit for most of the stuffs, we cannot regret now, we can only save on other thing else or cancel honeymoon(since we don’t like to travel). The report mentioned about how the downturn can bring couple closer, i hope so….

On 25 Oct 2008 Mediacorp Style wedding glamour bash was held at Marriot Hotel. Our main aim is the bridal studios. There are total 7 studios all together, namele: The Wedding Present, Sattine, La Belle, Di Gio, White weddings, White link, French bridal.

We signed with Di Gio~~~ but was quite disappointed with their new gowns.. never mind.. i got racks of them to choose from.. waiting for their new creations next year as well!!! Jia You!!!

this is what happens when there is 2 sanrio shop nearby my office…

we went in super duper late at 2.30 so we missed the bridal show by thomsom weddings, we only managed to get some hi tea, followed by a trip to one of their bridal suites and a meeting with our consultant Janice Ee and signing of the contract!!!

since our date is restricted, we are lucky that somebody is willing to give up their tentative booking to us! And we (actually is me) are sick and tired of sourcing for more venues… so even though utterly disappointed by the bridal suite.. we still decided to comfirm with GPPH, we trust the team and chefs from Park Palace..>.

bought the following.. maquillage autumn eyecolor and mascara.. gotten some gift with purchases(mini mascarra,parfum,essence,pouch designed by kane)…
